Storage Services
To protect your critical data business is to understand the value and therefore
the risk associated with the loss of that data. The term loss can be viewed
from two opposite but related perspectives. The first is the loss of data
related to synchronous transactions measured in milliseconds. The second
is the loss of data measured as a permanent loss of data. What is important
is to understand the single points of failure, the value of the data to be
recovered, and to compare this value against the cost of an overall Disaster
Recovery/Business Continuity Plan.
Directlink Storage Services, supported by our hosted data center and fiber
optic capabilities, provides our customers the ability to establish a
flexible delivery model based upon the financial and service level
needs of each organization.
Directlink's Storage Services has the ability to provide backup services as
well as the ability to build private optical storage networks. In both
storage services solutions, Directlink will leverage our extensive fiber
optic network, both long haul and local, and our data center facilities
at our Directlink Technology Center located in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Directlink's Backup and Restore Services provides affordable, managed, and
secure access to customer's data serviced through our data center operations
in support of tape and direct storage devices.
Directlink offers offsite tape or direct storage replicated copies stored
long-term offsite from Directlink's infrastructure. Our infrastructure
transcends seven states, including the District of Columbia, and is
positioned to connect to other Tier 1 carriers throughout the United States.
